Description: In this penalty kick simulation, the power selector is removed in favor of a curve or spin selector. The game also pits the kicker against a variable number of defenders, which makes direct shots impossible. Gameplay is viewed from a three quarter perspective which makes for a very interesting challenge to players who must estimate depth and distance instead of having a direct way to measure the angle of each penalty kick shot. World Cup Kicks features three dimensional player graphics and a spacious interface that largely emphasizes the field and the players over an intricate control system.
