Description: Where other penalty kick games use only power and direction, Super Soccer Star has four, yes, count them, four different ways to control the penalty kicker's shot. Each is selected with a timed controller and the ball can be affected by direction, pitch (or elevation), swerve (or spin) and power level. The "swerve" function is the most intriguing, as by changing the spin on the ball, a number of interesting effects can be produced, leading to a very complex and intriguing array of possible strategies for the penalty kicker. The power level of each shot seems to be the primary variable, as changes in power seem to have a dramatic effect on each shot. Each attempt results in some very entertaining crowd reactions.
